These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Başak Hicret and govern your use of the ZeroGallery: Photo Cleanup mobile application, website, and related services.
1. Developer and acceptance
ZeroGallery is developed and licensed by Başak Hicret (“Developer,” “ZeroGallery,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using ZeroGallery, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. The service
ZeroGallery helps you rediscover, organize, and review photos and videos stored in your device’s media library. Features include media-library browsing, Gallery Hunts, deletion review, local progress, optional local reminders, and ZeroGallery Lifetime. Features may vary by device, iOS version, country, permissions, and app version.
3. License
Subject to these Terms and the applicable app-store rules, Başak Hicret grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to install and use ZeroGallery on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial use.
You may not copy, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, modify, create derivative works from, circumvent security of, interfere with, or reverse engineer ZeroGallery except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law or permitted by an open-source license.
4. Your media and deletion decisions
You retain all ownership rights in your photos and videos. ZeroGallery does not acquire ownership of them. You are responsible for the content in your media library and for every keep, favorite, and deletion decision you make.
A left swipe only queues an item for review. Deletion occurs only when you approve the operating system’s confirmation. Review selections carefully and maintain appropriate backups of important media. Recovery, if available, is controlled by your operating system or cloud-media provider.
Quality and large-video features provide automated suggestions based on on-device sharpness analysis and locally available technical metadata such as duration and resolution. Suggestions are estimates, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and do not replace your own review.
5. ZeroGallery Lifetime and payments
ZeroGallery Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that provides lifetime access to premium features available for the supported life of the ZeroGallery product. It is not a subscription and does not involve recurring payments. “Lifetime” refers to the availability of the ZeroGallery product and does not guarantee that the app, every feature, or compatibility with every future device or iOS version will continue indefinitely.
Purchases, payment processing, taxes, refunds, family sharing where supported, and purchase restoration are administered by Apple App Store under its terms. Access is associated with the Apple Account used for purchase. Features described as future improvements are plans, not a promise of a particular feature or release date.
6. App-store terms
If you obtained ZeroGallery through Apple App Store, Apple’s applicable Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and Usage Rules also apply. These Terms are between you and Başak Hicret, not Apple. Apple has no responsibility for ZeroGallery or its support except as required by its terms or applicable law, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce applicable provisions.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use ZeroGallery unlawfully; infringe another person’s rights; introduce malicious code; attempt unauthorized access; interfere with the app, stores, or providers; bypass purchase or security controls; or use the app to exploit, harm, harass, or mislead others.
8. Intellectual property and feedback
ZeroGallery, including its name, mascot, interface, software, design, text, and branding, is owned by Başak Hicret or used under license and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. If you voluntarily send feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
9. Third-party services
ZeroGallery relies on iOS media libraries and notification services, Apple App Store services, and RevenueCat purchase infrastructure. Their services may be unavailable, changed, or governed by separate terms. We are not responsible for third-party services beyond what applicable law requires.
10. Updates, maintenance, and support
We may provide updates, fixes, or changes, and some updates may be required for continued use. We do not guarantee support for obsolete devices or operating-system versions. Support requests may be sent through our support email.
11. Availability and warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZeroGallery is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent availability, or compatibility with every device, media format, cloud asset, or future operating-system version. Statutory consumer guarantees that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Başak Hicret will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits; or loss of photos, videos, or data resulting from selections you approve, failure to maintain backups, third-party services, or events outside reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer right that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using ZeroGallery at any time by removing the app. Your license terminates automatically if you materially breach these Terms. We may suspend or discontinue all or part of ZeroGallery where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable consumer law and store obligations.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or provider changes. We will publish the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
15. Governing rules
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Başak Hicret is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protections or courts available to you under the laws of your habitual residence. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.
16. General terms
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a lawful business transfer, subject to your mandatory rights. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and applicable store terms form the agreement governing your use of ZeroGallery.
